Hi everybody!!

I am sorry but I need to shut the good morning column off for a while.

It's Christmas time!! There are a lot of things to do and I am also planning a Christmas attempt for my neighbours!! ^_^

So, please, be patient with me, the column will start again very soon!! ^_^

Yesterday night I decided to bake a pie in order to make a sweet surprise to my boyfriend this morning for breakfast!!
No surprise at all.. after 1 hour in the oven there was a dreaming smell of apples and pastry in all the apartment!! I feel I have to thank Anna for the gorgeous recipe. Thank you for sharing your great knowledge!!

This morning I am thinking about life.

It could appear a bit tough drunk with the morning coffee but it often happens to me. It's an inspirational moment and I really appreciate it. 

Well, I was there, and I saw some magpies flying near the tree just in front of my window. And I thought about how it's easy for them perching on every small or big branch, hedges, walls and how they interact with their environment. 

So I imagined my thoughts, both positive and negative, flying like them, away from my mind, free to go wherever they want, children and adults, friends, passers-by. 

I don't feel like sending my negative thoughts around today.

It's a beautiful day, isn't it?
Here in Dublin sky is blue, it's cold, yes, but there is a lovely sun waiting for me to go outside.

It was a great weekend..it was grand!!!!  I spent it with my elder brother (he doesn't live here in Ireland) and I miss him everyday.

By the way, he reminded my a song that we used to listen to and sing together when I was around 11. This souvenir makes me smile and be happy.. I want to share it with you.

When I woke up this morning, there was just  a little tone of sadness in my soul, a little shade of blue singing a Chet Baker song into my chest. I am sure, somebody was singing it in one of my dream last night. So, sipping my hot coffee, I moved closer the large window in the living room and I started watching outside. It was very early, and the sky was still a bit dark, and it seemed to be so cold outside.
I had a shiver.

But then,  clouds began to dance around the first rays of sunshine and I was there, admiring our earth.

I felt so relieved. And I imagined a fairy, spreading her love on the city,  mending my melancholy.
So I smiled.

Good morning sweethearts, how are you today?

This morning I received a very nice e-mail from a dear friend of mind. He said I needed to absolutely ready the words of a popular carol he found in a children book.

Here it is:

Smiling is contagious,

When he smiled I

I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth,
A single smile, just like mine,

and get the world infected!!!

Isn't it perfect? It made me smile - sure smiling is contagious -  and I thought I wanted to share it with you. 
Then , doing some research, I found that there is a nice singer, Rochelle Hanson (She has a beautiful, contagious smile), who posted a nice video on Youtube, lyrics based on this carol. I hope you like it. I am still singing it..  ^_^
